Activated charcoal (ours is made from coconut shells) has been used for decades as an absorber of toxins and inpurities.  It saves lives from  poisonings in the hospital setting, is used to purify water by absorbing a wide range of toxins, drugs, viruses, bacteria, fungus, and chemicals,  it is used to whiten teeth, and researchers have reported* that activated charcoal can help draw microparticles, such as dirt, dust, chemicals, toxins, and bacteria, to the surface of the skin, which makes removing them easier.
We have paired up our super skin loving oils and butters with activated charcoal which is said to have those amazing skin health benefits.  It will definitely give your skin a deep, luxurious cleanse with its thick, rich lather.  It has added goat's milk, buttermilk, colloidal oats, aloe, honey and natural clay to further soothe, nourish, detoxify and hydrate your skin.  The bar is scented with pure tea tree, peppermint and rosemary essential oils. 
ESSENTAIL OILS:  Derived from the melaleuca tree, TEA TREE oil is one of the most notable antiseptics in alternative medicine. It can help fight bacteria and inflammation, both of which can contribute to acne breakouts.  ROSEMARY oil is noted for its anti-inflammatory, stimulating, and analgesic properties. Its key ingredients, such as esters, may help keep excess sebum (the oil our skin makes) at bay. PEPPERMINT OIL has natural anti-microbial activity and antiseptic properties which can help in reducing pimples.  With continued use, it can also aid in improving blood circulation and enhancing skin tone.  HONEY is nature's antiseptic.

The handcrafted nature of my soaps make each and every one unique.  Each 2 pack is approximately 4.5 ounces and will arrive shrink wrapped (in eco-friendly wrap) with a complete list of ingredients.
Due to the activated charcoal content, this bar may lather light gray but not to worry, it rinses cleanly away.
